Secrets of the Invisible Hand

Business and Economics go hand in hand. The father of economics Adam Smith (an 18th century philosopher), said something to the effect of there is an invisible hand of sorts at work in business where business owners and entrepreneurs who work in self-interested economic behavior ultimately will make society better as a whole.

I believe that as each business owner and entrepreneur seek out their own business calling and focus on providing quality products and services that benefit out communities we will make our society better.

I have been a busy bee surfing social networks on Plaxo, My Space and other sites meeting serious small business professionals and entrepreneurs and I am so thrilled with the contributions you are making. This is a season of change where we can bring forward new ideas, tools and technologies to benefit others.

The secrets of the invisible hand are that as you seek to support yourself (aka self-interest/preservation) you will ultimately be bettering the world.

NOW LET ME ROCK YOUR WORLD.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT 88% OF GOODS AND SERVICES ARE CONSUMED BY 20% OF THE POPULATION IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES.

SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? THAT MEANS BY SOCIAL NETWORKING AND BENEFITING YOUR BUSINESS YOU CAN ACTUALLY MEET OTHERS ACROSS THE GLOBE... WHERE MARKETS ARE UNTOUCHED AND THEY REALLY NEED YOU.

WHAT WILL GLOBAL MARKETING TAKE?

STEP ONE LANGUAGE TECHNOLOGY. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO POST AND READ WITH A LANGUAGE CONVERTER.

NOW TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK AND CAN YOUR BUSINESS OR IDEA BECOME GLOBAL?

STEP TWO: ONLINE TV IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES... VIDEO ON DEMAND WHICH CAN MAKE INTRODUCTIONS.

YOU GIVE ME STEP THREE AND LETS CHAT...

What Will Make Your Business Fail?

Your Business can succeed or fail based on you developing a successful business model which clearly defines the costs of delivering your product and or service. You also need to stay on top of what your customer wants, your competition and clearly see the laws of supply and demand pertaining to your market and immediate influences.

Successful business models are seen everywhere with Blockbuster Video, Walmart and Costco. These companies have mastered the arts of supplying what consumers want at prices they are willing to pay and then have duplicated these business models enough times to capture the major market share.

Most of us blogging are small business owners peddling products we hope to sell to people we meet online. I am suggesting that some small business owners do not have a business market for their products and or services and thus need consulting services and marketing partners to create a demand for their products.

A direct sales pitch normally is a turn off and does not work. However when a consumer hears third party via a testimonial about some wonderful product thus it is easier to sell the product because a demand was created. StellarVision.TV can be the place your product and or service gains affordable media and market attention.

Small business owners have to constantly drive hard work to create new customer bases for their products and services. I am speaking mainly of MLM Multilevel Marketing Companies, Motivational Products and things you would typically see on late night TV.

I think these products and or services are great and I am a fan of late night TV but I am not the norm. I am an impulse buyer who is really the target demographic a MLM or MP company should target.

So how do you find these people, get them interested and then get them to buy? Infomercials and Talk Shows that display the products, inventors and amazing benefits with out pressure.

One innovations from Late Night TV I tried was Proactive Solution. It really worked for me unlike my lost Pet Rock that took off, made money and fizzled.

As a successful business owner you should consider what will make your business fail? What obstacles will you face? Who is your competitor and who is your customer? Is there sufficient demand for your product? What vehicle will you use to keep the benefits of your product in the eye of the public?

For motivational speakers who sell personal development products their business success with one product can be short lived because once the masses purchase the product there is no more demand for that product and thus another must come along normally not with the fizz of the first.

So as small business owners, entrepreneurs and writers of blogs attempt to be successful at what we do we must consider what will make us fail? With our eyes open for competition, quality and demand we can stay ahead of the laws of supply and demand and maybe even beat them by predicting what we invent that our customers will value.

If you have a challenge Stellar Enterprise offers consulting services that can help you develop systems such as customer surveys which will identify your customers and other potential targets as we have found it is just much easier and faster to ask them directly rather than to find out the hard way what they don't want!

So tell me what you do and what you think? If you are successful feel free to share why. Feel free to share any challenges or opinions about my post.

THE LAW OF DEMAND

The law of demand states that as prices rise consumers will buy less of a product and as prices drop consumers will buy more of a product. With that principle in mind how do you think your company should price it's products and or services?

Look at Wal-Mart they have a market share because no one beats their prices but they also have everything you want to buy at one place. The service is nothing special but what we value as customers is the best prices for what we want. On the other hand Nordstroms does great business but their business is not based solely on prices but on what customers value on upscale products.

Discussion Topic: Does Nordstroms (who tends to have higher prices) practice the law of demand? Why or Why Not? We want to hear from you.

Are You Living Your Best Life?

Oprah's Bob Greene has a new program that labels foods "Best Life" certified. Together they are promoting his book and diet program that helps those that struggle with diet and exercise lose weight with his "Best Life" program.

I think the great thing about the Best Life program is that you are just challenging yourself and accountable only to you. However; they do offer a Contract with Myself that you sign and post in plain view so that you remember to take the commitment seriously.

I mention the Best Life challenge on the You Are a CEO blog because I believe the You Are a CEO program is the Best Life program for business, career and life in general. Weight loss is just one area people struggle with but there are so many more areas in their faces 24/7: career, finances, relationships and more!

The challenges everyone faces each day is getting up in a good mood, having our bodies feeling good, having the energy and desire to working out and get our sweat on, doing the rights things and eating right, being on time and managing our finances, relationships and households. Keeping things clean and organized is a whole other chapter!

People tend to do what is fast, easy and comfortable but as a society there are things we need to change to live long and healthy lives. My vote for first stop is learning Executive Lifeskills. The You Are a CEO program teaches things I had never thought of like what is my emotional patterns? Geeze what is that? Well we have thought patterns, emotional patterns and habits that like em or not we do em.

Life can be good but it is complicated and multifaceted and I just have to say "Thank God" for the You Are a CEO program that is so wonderful, rich in content and very practical. It covers the best advice to help you live your very best life possible.

So what do you think people really need? What are their issues at work and at home?

For me my biggest challenge was accepting me and dealing with self esteem issues and a hidden inferiority complex that made me do things that subconsciously sabotaged my life and career. My weight was a biggie but also loving my family and letting people in was a challenge. I could put on a good face and be the life of the party but inside I felt like I did not fit in or belong. I struggled just to be me. It was abandonment issues and reactive attachment disorder but I am working on it. And anyone regardless if you have issues or no issues you will benefit from these tools.

I know I have gotten personal and maybe too personal but the You Are a CEO program really changed my life and showed me what was wrong when I did not know there was anything wrong. I see many people everywhere and I wonder if I can help them by sharing the benefits of what I have learned. My hope is the Blog will help someone or someone you know.

If you have taken the program please share how this program changed your life and if you want to take this program what benefits are you hoping to receive?

Do you think people have issues? If yes what are they and how do you think we can solve them? I think the program is a beginning but everyone needs to take it and implement it. I look forward to hearing from you and reading what you will share.

So go out and live your best life and be sure to keep me posted on how you are doing.

Want Some One To Watch Your Credit Report?

Do you ever wonder if some one is using your credit? Are you worried that a late or a judgement may pop up and ruin you credit?

If you are busy and are the forgetful type then you need a credit watch dog. I mean a credit reporting agency who will monitor your credit report 24/7.

If a late pops up, your over your limit or someone tries to use your credit you will be alerted and be able to save your credit.

Good credit is very important when you want to start a business and borrow money and it the business does not work out and you need to get a good job good credit counts again with many employers and if you are spouse shopping a good one just may ask and want to see your credit report.

Good credit tells a lot about you as a person and that is why lenders, employers and prospective spouses may want to look at your credit before they say Yes, or I do.
I strongly suggest a credit monitoring service unless you are very disciplined with your credit. I use True Credit which is about $14.95 per month. I know it does require spending money but if you get a late, collection or fraudulent opened account you will know in 24 hours or less and when you know quickly you can get it removed.

So expect me to be telling you more about True Credit where you can view all 3 credit reports and their scores as often as you like and know what your balances are in one shot.

True Credit is a great low cost resource for information also.

Here are some of True Credits Tips for Keeping Your Credit Score High:

Be punctual – Pay all your bills on time each month. Late payments, collections, and bankruptcies have the greatest negative effect on your credit scores.

• Check your credit reports regularly and take the necessary steps to remove inaccuracies –

• Manage your debts – Keep your credit card account balances below 35% of your available credit limits. For instance, if you have a credit card with a $1,000 limit, you should try to keep the balance owed below $350.

• Give yourself time – Time is one of the most significant factors that can improve your credit score. Establish a long history of paying your bills on time and using credit responsibly. You may also want to keep the oldest account on your credit report open in order to lengthen your period of active credit use.

• Avoid excessive inquiries – A large number of inquiries occurred over a short period of time may be interpreted as a sign that you are opening numerous credit accounts due to financial difficulties or overextending yourself by taking on more debt than you can easily repay. Apply for new credit in moderation.

I have always believed that you should keep 5-6 credit cards but just use 1 or 2 and pay them off in full each month if you can. If you have to have credit over time try to use just 1/2 of the limit they give you so getting bigger limits will be a plus for those of you who like to shop.

Hope this helps.

Please let me know what you think of True Credit and remember you can cancel at anytime if you feel you have the hang of it.

What May Kill The Woman You Love?

You may think cancer is the number one killer or domestic violence but actually the NUMBER ONE KILLER OF WOMEN IS HEART DISEASE? AND THAT'S SCARY. So how do you keep a heart healthy?

As a CEO you already know that living an organized life that is balanced between work and home is good for you but also it can reduce stress which is directly linked to heart disease.

If you are a man who has taken this program you may want to share it with the woman or women (mother, aunt, sisters) in your life because there is a killer out there.

A healthy lifestyle is the first step: a balanced diet, regular exercising and having a normal weight will reduce your risks of heart disease.

"The Heart Truth" campaign is a program of the National Heart, Lung and
Blood Institute that aims to raise awareness and provide education about the risk of heart disease in women.

One of their sponsors is Celestial Seasonings tea. They support this movement because they know that just two cups of black tea a day provides as many heart-healthy flavonoids as one serving of fruit or vegetables.

Green and white teas also have high levels of antioxidants and that is probably why so many people are giving up their coffee for tea. You can learn more at www.hearttruth.gov or womenheart.org or www.youareaceo.com where the woman you love can decrease her risks of heart disease by becoming the CEO of HER LIFE!

PS: You can show your support by wearing the red dress pin. Simply send in 3 right flaps that say "Official Mail-In Certificate and Proof of Purchase" to Celestial Red Dress Pin Offer P O Box 6185 Clear Lake Mn 55319-6185.

My mother has heart disease and she and I both thank you for your support.

Check Out What We Said On TRUMP's Blog

Good Morning Bloggers.

We are regular readers of Donald Trump's blog along with others and we always enjoy the high quality writers, speakers and trainers he has.

We recently saw a blog we just could not resist when they asked if Female Real Estate Investors were at a Disadvantage.

At the You Are a CEO program we know that many of our customers are Female and I know with out a doubt that our training helps women level the playing field by giving them the executive skill sets of a CEO.

Anyway, it looks like "The Donald" agreed and we got to post our comments which many not necessarily reflect the opinion of the You Are a CEO program but rather the writer.

With out further ado please check out our comments as posted on Donald's Blog:

Here is what they sent me:

Thank you for your latest posting to the Trump Blog!

Deal or No Deal?

I just lost $650,000 by playing a quick deal or no deal game. I wanted to test it out and really did not care if I won or lost. I played fast and settled way to easily and often in business and in life do the same things. We take what is easy to get, fast to obtain and cheap to acquire.

At Stellar Enterprise we learn about Value-Centered Management and when combined with executive lifeskills we learn that we can take the time to consider our option and based on skills we learn and develop in the You Are a CEO program we can win because we develop our best asset... us.

Our skills and how we use them to make or not make wise decisions do matter!

So play the game and have fun but remember that if you are wondering how your executive life skills measure up... you might want to check out the You Are a CEO program for executives. It will help you get your best game skills on!

What Are Your Favorite Things?

As a CEO we do get to indulge ourselves from time to time and when I can these are my favorite things:

Everything Aveda... shampoo, skincare, body care. I especially love the Clove Shampoo which keep my hair color dark and rich. I also love the Smooth Infusion Shampoo which I alternate with because it makes my hair so super shiny.

I love my Blackberry which my co workers lovingly call my "CrackBerry" because I am an addict with it. I am bad. It is the first think I do in the morning and the last thing at night, if I don't check it every so often I get a weird feeling in my stomach, like oh my God what am I missing? Who called, text or emailed me? Geeze and who know what kind of spam I may have that I need to act fast on... ha ha ha.

I love Everything Chocolate especially Cacao Anasa Chocolates. The everything chocolate experience... this is as wild as chocolate can get folks... and they exclusively carry it at Stalaros. Imagine: Cardamon, Rose Petals, Hawaiian Red Sea Salt and Pistachio... yes with chocolate... Its Crazy... Its love... Its an Obsession! And Please don't try the cookies...They are INsanity! Dark chocolate, walnuts, espresso and fudge...

I love learning new things like we do at the You Are a CEO program. I love to unload baggage from my past and gain new skills that make me a better and stronger person.

I love disciplined people who have clean cars, organized closets and get up early to go to the Gym.

I love the spa, getting a massage and "clean" little kids dressed up for Sunday Church.

I love flowers, white orchids, pink roses and blue Pansy's.

I love colorful birds, playful kittens and the smell of puppy breath.

I love the teal blue water in Tahiti, soft and the paintings of Eyvind Earle.

(He is a magical artist who worked for Disney before going out on his own.

You can see some of what he does at:

http://www.palettecontemporary.com/gallery/show.php?page=2&artist=143

If you like landscapes and to daydream... he is your man. Google him too).

Now that I bared my soul, tell us "What Are Your Favorite Things"? What makes you laugh, smile or feel special? When you make a big sale or have extra money what do you indulge in?
